I want to give you a little more information about myself and why I want to help you with your organisation.
I have been through a lot over the years. I know I can really help others, as my lived experience is vast. I want the opportunity to help guide our beneficiaries into living a healthier and more fulfilling life. By giving them the tools, the understanding, and with support and help from others (peer mentoring), I want to help build self-esteem, confidence and believe and we can all really achieve our goals, by taking small positive steps to change our overall wellbeing.
I am a local man, I live in Ditton, Widnes. I have been my family carer to both my parents for many years. This role has taught me so much about myself, my character and my resilience. I have also educated myself going to our local college; Riverside and I am currently on the Accredited Counsellor Program.
I want to help Picic be the CIC that local people can turn too, regardless of age, race, sex, disability, beliefs. Together I know we can help & support our residents of both Runcorn and Widnes, in Halton to reach their fullest potential.
By talking and supporting individuals together, listen, I want to help Picic to make a difference in our town of Halton. My burning desire to give something back and your organisation and its genuine needs really are what drew me to get involved. I am proud to be associated with Picic because its genuine need simple as that.
